Layout

A Buzz layout is a grid that defines a pattern that divides a page into columns. This structure helps designers to arrange content on the page. While the lines are not visible, the structure helps you to manage the proportions between the elements to be aligned on the page. It provides clear paths for navigation within a Buzz.

The content layout in a Buzz can be:

  • 1-column often used for mobile browsers and is the default for a Buzz.
  • 2-column often used for tablets and laptops.
  • 3-column used for desktops.

Use Layout for 2 or 3 column content areas. The numbers associated with the columns are the ratio based on a standard 12 column format. For example, 8+4 = 2/3 and 1/3 of area.
