Audit Trail

The following is an example of using Buzzy to generate an Audit trail for a business process.

In this scenario, The enterprise has developed a Buzz and Microapp to capture sales data. The employee enters the customer information and chooses product/price. However, the customer complains about the price and would like to receive a discount before payment. The sales manager decides to apply a discount and overrides the price.

The Buzz captured and logged the original amounts entered by the employee into the Microapp as well as the log file. The record was locked after submitted by the employee. The sales manager unlocked the record and changed the price and then locked the record again. This modified the Microapp data and the change was also captured and stored in the Buzzy log file. The Microapp has the final price data, the log file has the change events as well as the price data.
